Sensometrics 2018 Virtual Special Issue of Food Quality and Preference
A virtual special issue (VSI) containing selected, refereed papers from Sensometrics 2018 will be published in Food Quality and Preference. Oral and poster presenters at the conference are invited to submit full manuscripts for consideration for publication in the special issue.
All papers accepted for the Sensometrics 2018 Virtual Special Issue will be published in regular issues of the journal. At the same time, the special issue content will be brought together in an online VSI, easily accessible on Science Direct. Publication times will be considerably shorter compared to past special issues.
Acceptance of an abstract in the conference does not imply acceptance of an accompanying paper for publication in the special issue. Manuscripts should be submitted by June 30th 2018.
Manuscripts should be prepared according to the Author Guidelines of Food Quality and Preference, which can be found in the website: www.elsevier.com/locate/foodqual. Detailed information about the journal are also available in the journal homepage. Manuscripts for the special issue must be submitted online, using the journal’s electronic submission system, starting from 1 March 2018. When submitting your manuscript, please select “Sensometrics 2018” as Article type.

Food Quality and Preference is a journal devoted to sensory and consumer research in food and non-food products. It publishes original research, critical reviews, and short communications in sensory and consumer science, and sensometrics. In addition, the journal publishes special invited issues on important timely topics and from relevant conferences. These are aimed at bridging the gap between research and application, bringing together authors and readers in consumer and market research, sensory science, sensometrics and sensory evaluation, nutrition and food choice, as well as food research, product development and sensory quality assurance.
